Pick-Your-Own Vegetables
Pick your own vegetables right out of the field from the summer months and into the fall months. All vegetables picked by the pound.
Summer hours include 7:00-5:00 DAILY July through August and 9:00-5:00 September and October DAILY.
Reservations are not required; weekends are busier than the weekdays.
Apple Annie’s Produce and Pumpkins is a fully working farm. It can be dusty or even muddy and our summer months are hot.
Wheelbarrows are available for your use during your visit to the Produce and Pumpkin location; they must only be used for vegetables or pumpkins and must be returned before you leave.
Already Picked Vegetables
Produce is available periodically throughout the season. Availability is updated weekly depending on the availability of crops. All already picked produce is available under the barn on display or in the walk-in veggie cooler. All vegetables are available by the pound.
Sweet Corn
The Best Sweet Corn in Southern Arizona! Apple Annie’s grows the most scrumptious sweet corn anywhere! We grow super sweet bi-color varieties, specially selected for their exceptional sweetness and flavor. Sweet corn is planted every 3-5 days from early April until mid-July, to ensure that we have plenty of this mouth-watering treat available from early July through September. To make sure that our corn is picked at its peak, our experienced corn pickers select the ripest ears and bring them into the produce stand; the fields are not open for you-pick. We do not grow GMO sweet corn.
The sweet corn is available by the half dozen, Farmer’s dozen (13) and 5 dozen burlap sacks(dependent on quantities available).
Fall Pumpkins
Available in late September to October
Pumpkins are an important part of fall here at Apple Annie’s! Forty-acres of pumpkins are planted each summer, and by late September the fields are a spectacular sight! There are pumpkins ranging from the Jack-Be-Littles, which fit in the palm of your hand, to pumpkins that will tip the scale at over 100pounds! Of course, there are plenty of assorted sizes in between, as well as pumpkins with stripes, warts, and various colors. Every pumpkin picker is certain to find the perfect pumpkin! Sunflowers
Step into the golden glow of our stunning sunflower field! Take in the fresh air, capture picture-perfect moments with your loved ones, and enjoy the simple joy of walking among these cheerful flowers. We offer the unique experience of cutting your own sunflowers to take home, so you can bring a piece of this special day with you. Whether you are snapping photos of the kids, taking a romantic stroll, or having a day out with friends, our sunflower field is the perfect backdrop for creating memories that will last a lifetime.
